We are both the same age, No record of bad driving, No criminal record, also wanted insurance on the same car and same gender. The only different variable was race. “Hey, I know its probably thought as weird but for my first car/van I want a Vauxhall Astravan as I love the shape and the car/van itself. The thing is the New model (06-TO current) have the 1.3 CDTI engine which is good but if you want a decent one there all 3000+… The Mk4 astravan (98-06) only go as low as a 1.6 Deisel. Could I be insured on this or would it be a big bill, or is it just worth getting a normal car? Chris””

“I’m in a bad living situation and I’m slowly trying to get out….I make minimum wage and I’m trying to finance a vehicle…I have no money to put down, and the little credit I did have was gone a long time ago due to unpaid medical bills…. I figure with taking $80 out of every pay check I can afford a payment of $320 a month….Also taking 30 out of the same pay check to make payments of up to $120 towards insurance….. Is this too much? My last ticket was almost 7 years ago…I’m a safe driver…what kind of prices am I looking at?
